SYNOPSIS:
Zakros, a small mark on the map of eastern Crete, bathed in light and wind. Glimpses and attempts to navigate the labyrinths of time, history, memory and everyday life.
ΒΙΟGRAPHY
Filippos Koutsaftis was born in Zagora, Volos in 1950. At first, he studied engineering and later cinema in Athens. He has worked as a Director of Photography both in cinema and on television. He has also worked as a Lightning Designer in theatre, musicals and dance productions. He has been the producer and director of the following documentaries with an archaeological theme, as his creative interest centres around questions of space, time, memory and history.
