In a few strokes of the pencil, her silhouette can be sketched out, recognizable among all – twisted bust, amputated arms… Two meters of white marble and two centuries of mysteries, on which our fantasies and imaginations are projected.
How, of all the ancient masterpieces, did she become this timeless and universal icon, endlessly reinterpreted, reproduced, hijacked and shared?
ΒΙΟGRAPHY
Trained as a film editor, Natacha started out working with experienced directors – in particular on archive documentaries. At the same time, she writes and directs her own documentary films. Her favourite subjects are often inspired by the destinies of exceptional women. She has edited numerous documentaries for all French channels. Natacha Giler is a graduate of ESEC (Ecole Supérieure d’Etudes Cinématographiques).
