“Our common pain”: missing people in Cyprus; 1963-1974

The documentary aims to bring to light the common agony of the two communities, it presents interviews given by relatives of two missing persons, a Turkish Cypriot and a Greek Cypriot, respectively. Following up on the stories of each family, we unfold the common agony and pain each family has been through. The documentary also includes interviews with two journalists, who emphasize the trauma those families suffered and focus on the need to complete the mourning cycle. Finally, the interview given by an archeologist of the Committee on Missing Persons in Cyprus enlightens viewers on the procedures and methods followed to recover and identify those still considered missing.
