ΠΕΡΙΛΗΨΗ
The Presidential Palace is the symbol of every democratic state, let alone of Cyprus. This building carries the history of the whole island, the sufferings, but also its memories, the celebrations, and the decisions that changed and will change the future of this island. This building was set on fire and bombed. 1931, 1960, 1974 and many other dates left their mark on it. The Presidential Palace burns down as a collateral loss, but it comes back to life with the persistence and blood of the Cypriot people. Conversing with its users (President, Director of the President’s office, Presidential tour guide) with a dive into the past (Historian), the historical value of this building emerges for the first time.
